Back by popular demand is a special invitation from UBS to  members of our club.

While recent economic data from the US has been mixed, job growth remains fairly solid and its economic recovery remains intact – putting the Fed on track to hike rates later this year. Elsewhere, the Eurozone’s economic acceleration is continuing amid the ECB’s significant quantitative easing, while geopolitical risks such as a potential ‘Grexit’, present threats to the global growth outlook and financial markets.

In this current investment environment, where the landscape is challenging and continuously changing, how will the above topics impact global recovery?

Join us to find out more about Mr. Paul Donovan's view on the diverging world and how one can navigate this changing global landscape. Topics that will be addressed include:

• Are developed economies really slowing?
• Why inflation is more important and more immediate than you might think
• How central banks are changing their behavior
• Why currency wars are completely futile

In addition to focusing on the global view, we will also hear from Penn alum Mr. Jody Santiago (WG '96) from the Research team at UBS. He will discuss the implications of this global economic environment on the Philippines, as well as highlight the role that the Philippines plays within the regional and global context.
